  There is a West Elfers Cemetery At Different Location

  My mother was buried at East Elfers in June 2011. Since then there have been many improvements. They regularly mow and the overall condition of the cemetery has improved greatly. Since my mother passed, I have been visiting the cemetery regularly at all times of the day and many times in the middle of the night. I have never seen anything or anyone out of the ordinary there. The visitors I have met are always very nice people.
  My only complaint is about the committee overseeing the cemetery. They don't seem very fair. We have now purchased four plots for my family. When we wanted to buy the plot directly behind my mother, they would not allow us to make payments. At that time (2011) only my mother's grave was paid for.I wanted that plot because I planted a tree behind my mother's grave. They then decided that they would let someone else make payments to buy that very same plot. Now of course, I will have to move the tree I planted there in November 2011.
  We recently paid for all four plots in full, yet they charged us $200 more for the fourth plot because the prices went up. That's just not good business. I would think I bought three plots already, I should have paid the same price. Instead they decided to take advantage of us; knowing we needed one more plot; and charged us the new more expensive price. Not Fair Again. Shame on them. They should really reconsider what is best for the people who choose to place their loved ones there. They should be honored to serve the public in their time of need.

  The cemetery is in pretty good condition. However the management should be ashamed of themselves. I called them once to tell them about a ritualistic chicken being killed in the cemetery. They never even bothered to call me back. This is not the first time either.

  my mother is buried there and i have try to keep it up and try to make it pretty.. someone stole my mother hanging basket and some plants...
